Dear Friends and Family,
The container has arrived today and by the time you receive this letter, 600 boxes of clothing will be on their way to Tajikistan from a former schoolhouse in Weyers Cave, Virginia.
Amazingly enough, for a slow winter month we have been quite busy resorting and organizing. We have moved our band instruments into their new location. The guys have been building and painting shelves and I’ve just completed our first band instrument inventory. Would you believe I counted 62 drums! (I now know more than I ever cared to know about drums!) Check out our Sousaphone draperies!
My Valentine (Charlie) has a birthday today! Since we worked this Saturday we will probably enjoy his birthday with a much-needed day off and possibly an apple pie! (Isn’t he cute? He stills give me sparks!) Don’t tell him about the pie…. it’s a secret!
Thank you so much for your support and financial gifts. We are so thankful for you and for your prayers. May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness and for the love you continue to shower on us.
Blessings,
Charlie and Kathy
