News from the Nest

We're back from our Christmas trip to New York City!

It was such a blessing to be able to spend the holidays with all our kids. We have not all been together in two years.

Suzy and Tim were wonderful hosts and shoe horned the whole clan in their small apartment. They were wonderful tour guides of the city and it's spectacular sights.

We were delightfully surprised by how much Andy has matured and the new contacts he is making. He enjoyed getting to know his new brother-in-law Jerry.

Becky and Jerry were able to spend over 10 days with us and it was such fun watching Jerry experience "Southern Cooking" and new places.

We have put in a lot of "wind shield" time driving to NYC and back and forth to Richmond to the airport. We had many unexpected "trials" but many more joys. As we watched our "Canadians" go through security at the airport our final words were more of a question......."Same time next year?"

We hope you were able to spend time with those that are closest to you and were able to gather them round and hold on to them tightly. We want to thank each of you for the value you have added to our life just by knowing you.
