Dear Friends and Family,
The leaves have fallen and the temperatures are dropping but activity at ETS is at an all time high! We are preparing for National Missionary Conference in Cincinnati this coming week (November 19-23). We will be one of 450+ exhibitors and are putting on the last minute touches to our booth and getting our resources ready. The theme of our display is “ETS ....Your Missions Toolbox“ and we have an actual toolbox with pictures and miniature items representing the materials and equipment we can supply. We are praying that we will be able to team up with independent Christian Missionaries, to help them evangelize and minister to the needs of their people.
Meanwhile, back at the Nest, we have had many visitors this past week. John Stone was here, coming from his ministry in Haiti. And special thanks to Audrey Allen and Sandy Ihrig who came from Savannah and who definitely lightened our load this week ! Our visitors always tell us that they sleep so well here....(Could it be the fresh country air or the fact that the work is very physical and they are so tired at the end of the day?)
We have had two lively youth groups volunteer at the mission this week, who swept in like a field of locusts, making quick work of boxing, taping and weighing clothing for Tajikistan. This weekend we have a group of Mennonites from Pennsylvania who are staying at the mission, helping with all the many projects at hand. We are so blessed!
Speaking of blessings...we count you as one of our Special Blessings from the Lord. Thank you for your support and prayers that enable us to do the work we love.
