Dear Friends and Family,
We have certainly had a roller coaster ride this past year with some real highs, lows and some occasional twists and turns that we did not see coming. Through it all God has been faithful and He brought us through the hardest year of our life.
We rejoiced in January at the birth of our first grandchild, Emmalee Anne. In February, I totaled our car in an accident. In March we were able to purchase a used car at auction and we rejoice that it is completely paid off.
April saw Charlie having surgery for a second hernia. In May, I was hit by a car while walking in the parking lot to our car. In June I had knee surgery to repair the damage and I spent the rest of the summer in rehab.
We had three groups from Savannah Christian come to help us this year and we are looking forward to another group in March.
We appreciate our volunteers so much as they help us load containers and process donations of clothing, medical supplies and computers.
We did a clothing container in July for the Ukraine and 3 containers in October (for Ethiopia, Peru and Bolivia). We are looking forward to finishing off the year with another clothing container for Operation Blessing.
Please know that we consider you a blessing also. Thank you for your prayers, support and encouragement.
Charlie and Kathy
